Kabankalan City farmers get P2M tramline project

Geared toward decreasing journey time of product hauling from the farm supply and improve agricultural productiveness and earnings of native farmers, the Provincial Authorities of Negros Occidental has turned over Tagukon Agricultural Tramline Mission at Sitio Minaluha, Barangay Tagucon in Kabankalan Metropolis on Thursday, July 21.

Price about P2 million, the challenge was constructed with two towers, touchdown pads, ready shed, engine room, carriage, pulleys and cables.

Its most carriage meeting capability is P350 kilograms and takes two minutes and 20 seconds per tramline journey from tower A to B, with a 320-meter distance.

The Minaluha Diversified Farmers Affiliation (Midifa) and Bagacay Diversified Farmers Affiliation (Badifa) are the primary beneficiaries of the challenge who will oversee its operation and administration.

Farm produce that wants hauling consists of corn, banana, coconut, fruit and veggies, and different excessive worth crops.

The tramline doesn’t solely scale back the journey time of farmers in sending their farm merchandise to clients, but in addition reduces the hauling value of their farm inputs in addition to scale back postharvest losses.
