A second doc, a letter addressed to US choose Lewis A Kaplan, who has been overseeing the case, stated: “We write collectively with counsel for defendant to advise the court docket that the events reached a settlement in precept of the above-referenced motion.”

It goes on to say the events concerned plan to file a “stipulation of dismissal of the case” inside 30 days.

The letter, signed by Ms Giuffre’s lawyer David Boies, concludes: “We recognize the effort and time the court docket has dedicated to this matter.”
