MANILA, Philippines — After some members and employers fell victims to fraud and scams, the Social Safety System (SSS) has reminded them to safe their login data on the web My.SSS portal.

These login data must be saved confidential by account holders to guard themselves from scammers,” SSS president and chief government Michael Regino mentioned in an announcement on Thursday.

“We’ve requested our stakeholders to not share their usernames, passwords, and different login particulars on their My.SSS accounts to unauthorized people. Giving your username and password to a different particular person is like sharing your ATM PIN,” Regino mentioned.

“Anybody with this data might use your My.SSS account to avail of financial advantages with out your authorization,” he warned.

Regino additionally warned members from teams on social media, comparable to Fb, whereby folks provide to expedite transactions with the SSS for a charge.
